Well, this is actually just one of the hundreds of blog and video responses to the UCLA student’s infamous “Asian’s in the Library” youtube video. I personally think that video was very inappropriate , specially that it turned viral shortly after the Japan’s tsunami disaster . For those of you who got no idea of what the video is all about, she was actually trying to make a humorous video rant about Asian’s having no manners, talking aloud over the phone, inside the library , while she’s busy with her finals.

Well, if she’s really that annoyed , thats understandable, but post something like that in Youtube and attacking Asian’s in general is .. offensive. Well, there’s freedom of speech and there’s stupid-racist speech, and I think she did the latter with flying colors. She even referenced Japan’s tsunami, mocked about asian’s talking over the phone with their loved ones, blew it off like it was just a minor thing. I mean, I dont hate her really, but the video was completely inappropriate.
The video unfortunately, made a huge backlash on her, she received death threats and got her personal information published in public. A serious backfire.. I feel sorry for her..

An apology letter she made in UCLA’s online news source , the Daily Bruins :

In an attempt to produce a humorous YouTube video, I have offended the UCLA community and the entire Asian culture. I am truly sorry for the hurtful words I said and the pain it caused to anyone who watched the video. Especially in the wake of the ongoing disaster in Japan, I would do anything to take back my insensitive words. I could write apology letters all day and night, but I know they wouldn’t erase the video from your memory, nor would they act to reverse my inappropriate action.

I made a mistake. My mistake, however, has lead to the harassment of my family, the publishing of my personal information, death threats, and being ostracized from an entire community. Accordingly, for personal safety reasons, I have chosen to no longer attend classes at UCLA.

Lesson learned..

I was browsin through YOUTUBE the other night, and noticed a lot of comments mentioning ” podocot ” in almost every video ( actually noticed it some time last week while watchin Lady Gaga’s vids, but I didnt bother researching. That got me wondrin now what really is a podocot? )

Apparently, Im not alone on this coz I tried googling about it, looks like a lot of Youtube viewers are also in a maze.

Read through Yahoo Answers.. but not enuff..

Well, they kind of gave me an idea : its a scam .. no its a virus.. no its in Youtube.. yea its annoying.. -_-

Anyhoe,I googled it futher..And almost getting some light about this. Podocot is actually a website. And the site is Pocodot .. not Podocot.  ( I dunno if people mistyped it or they just prefer the latter coz its easier to pronounce )

It is believed to be a social networking website where stars you see in youtube created an account there and posted real pictures and stuff. Reason why youre seeing too many “podocot” comments in youtube its coz the spam comments are encouraging viewers to sign up in podocot and get a closer connection with their favorite artist. Hmm?? clever??..Well, the bad news is, theyre sayin the accounts are fake.

And not only that, its rumored to be a virus that if you sign up for it, you either get a virus on your computer, or your account will never be deleted. ( These are hear- says, I have never attempted opening an account in pocodot ) While I read some forums, people are discussing about how Facebook keeps on upgrading, the site has somewhat been difficult to use, that some Facebook users are turning away, and that Podocot is a site easier to use. I dunno if its a way to promote the site or such, but either way, podocot is becomin’ ridiculously popular in Youtube.

Well,this is  just out of my curiosity .. ( Just sharing )

5 things I can never live without :

• Music – Life without Music is friggin’ DULL.. -_-
• Food – Life without Food is NO LIFE AT ALL ( lol, am I serious now? ofcourse. How the duck can you live without eatin?)
• Internet- ( Nahh , just kiddin .. Not exactly the world wide web , I only meant Youtube and Facebook combined Ü
• Phone- I can survive a day or two without my cell, but a week , months, years or a lifetime of no phone.. hell to the nahh.. Its like goin out on the streets naked.
• Pillow – because its hard to sleep laying your head on a flat surface .

5 things I learned from Baby sitting my nephew :

• That when a Baby is hungry, he’s really gonna cry no matter how you try to make yourself funny.. -_- dammit.
• That when you prepare his milk , you have to be mindful of the little lines on his feeding bottle.
• That some babies snore. LMFAO
• That when they poop, they make weird faces. ha ha
• They smile when theyre sleeping. ( sometimes )

5 things I learned from Public Hospitals :

This was when I made a visit to a hospital.. ( sometime tis week )

• That you cant get through a security in charge ( on a late-night visit ) if you dont have a Watcher’s ID.
• That the comfort rooms are always dirty… And it sucks to see food particles all over the floor..
• That even with the doctors and the nurses around, its still gonna be like a “save-ur-own-life” drama.
• People get their service based on the amount they pay.
• The lines to purchasing medicines are always long. -_-

5 things I love about my pet :

I have a very playful shih tzu puppy named “Milo” my boyfriend  gave me as a present. This cute little pooch is my baby and its fun to be a pet parent, lol.

• He attracts too many people. When I take him out for a stroll, they couldnt help but touch him.
• He’s the most hyperactive dog I have ever encountered.
• His color , brown with black markings- because its not so difficult to groom. ( which is a real challenge for me because he’s not very fond of grooming  )
• When I turn the lights off, he knows its time to sleep..
• He sleeps like a starfish. Lying on his back with arms and legs outstretched.. with his mouth open! ha ha. Its so hard to imagine a dog sleep like that.

5 Things I hate when applying for a Job :

And this was also last week ..

• It takes forever for your name to be called for an interview.
• You go through a series of exams  ( like Highschool all over again , darn )
• The person sittin next to you wants to chitchat and tells you her whole lifestory.. ( when all you want is  your peace.. )
• You always have to make a mental outline, just to get prepared for the “Tell me about yourself” part.. sucks..
• The recruiters are so dramatic when revealing the result of your application. “Ms. Lagunsad?.. Yes sir?.. “Uhmm.. ( long awkward silence.. ). Yes.. (another pause.. )”We just would like to inform you that…” * Right.. It takes  a heartbeat before they tell you u got the job . LOL.

5 Sweet things my Boyfriend randomly told/did to me :

( I dunno if he remembers any of these..  but I just think the sweetest things  are felt when youre absolutely caught off guard , and he’s a real genius at making surprises .. ♥ )

• Left a fruit on my station when he saw me sneezin and coughin at work . LOL ( and I was like ” WHY DO I HAVE A WATERMELON ON MY DESK o_O? and he said “Youre sick right?” and we’re not yet together that time..
• Posted somethin on my wall ” I’ll do whatever it takes to make you happy forever”.. ( out of the Blue.. on a very verrryyy random day )
• Asked me ” Is it nice to get a ring? ” I said ” Yea, would be great?”. He took me to a shop and showed me a design, which I really loved, moments later  he bought it for us. When I talked to the lady in charge, she secretly told me ” He’s gone here before Maam, he’s been eyeing for that design since last week. Ü I said ” Is that why youve been smiling the whole time?” she said “Yea, nice surprise”..
• Brought candies and stuff  when Im at work.. everyday.. lol. He’s as sweet as his chocolates. Ü♥
• At work.. I was blank faced.. and starin thoughtlessly in space.. He said “Huyy!” with the act of stealing a kiss ( Bam! sudden andrenaline rush.. i got all hyped.. and he went away, laughin teasingly .Ü .. LOL  )

If I talk about my man, its gonna take me forever to write down the list. He’s just pretty unpredictable. And thats why I love him so much. ♥
