Uhhh.. Just the other day, one of my friends randomly asked me ” So Joan, tell me? What’s really in your life other than youre “so-called” life?? ” The “life” he was referring to is the life of  constant emailing/chattin/status updates/online games/ Blogging/ browsin and the endless things one can do while infront of the computer. Forever logged- in in Facebook doin just literally nothin.

So to keep it short, my friend adviced me to “GET A LIFE!!!.. a REAL LIFE!!”


* And at that moment, I just wanna stitch his lips together so I can shut him up*

But I answered him ” Excuseeee me punk?! I have a life , I just know how to  do a lot of things in little or almost all at same time… coz Im super!!” and in seconds I saw his eye balls rolling.

So here’s what I do when Im offline :

Walk around – Sunday is when I need so much personal space  coz its the time of the week that I wanted to be alone. Watch the movies alone, or eat in a restaurant alone. * thats when u get those weird looks, I dunno if people are being weird, or Im lookin weird, Im not sure which is which. But yea who cares.

Read magazines-  I dig Cosmo, Teens and Fashion mags, Men’s magazines . Understanding the male brain , tee- hee. Just to get even * evil smile*

Girlfriends + Mall Sale = Fun Shopping – Yea…  Girls will always be girls, we love shopping. And if anyone says she hates shopping, let her die.

Starbucks + Cigz  + Some Girlfriends EMO = Drama in the coffeeshop - This is the perfect place to get emo with your girls. I have been invited countless times to coffeeshops and listen to another friend bitch about how troubled her love life is. Haha. And u sit there still for the next 4 hours , alternating sip and puff and nodding once in awhile because you pretend that youre  listening .. Well, its a two way thing, I listen when they make drama, and they listen when I make drama. Hahahaha, I love my girls, they remind me of me bein a woman. Coz of the drama.

Be one of em’ Boys – So to forget that Im actually a girl. I  hang out with some guy friends and get a bottle or two. * Or make it a bucket *

Go on  a Booksale – its just heaven when u brought home 4 books for just a couple of hundreds. * and stack em up in your bookshelf *

Watch a Movie – grab one of my friends and go straight to the cinemas. Or if we’re broke, then we’ll settle for the DVD, movin around find a bootleg and then pop on chips and soda at home. Yea, the couch potato. Lols.

Be Vain * once  in awhile* – lather on cream , oil on ur skin, lavender-scented candles and BAM! instant spa at home. But I hardly do this.  Just once in awhile coz I dont wanna spoil myself too much.

And while I do the things above, I keep thinkin what my next article is, or whether or not my emails have been replied.. Or do I have any new notifications..Uhg, some twisted  online addiction.

1. ) Confidence is Sexeeyyy – Okey, im not talkin of Alpha-male arrogance here. It’s when a guy winks at you and the effect is smoky and dreamy, his gaze is pure and seductive, the type so powerful it sends you shivers to your spine. Well, Im not sayin guys go Mr. Suave and stuff ( I mean that’s too outdated and might scare your girl away). Its when a guy radiates calmness and writes cool all over his face..thats what i mean by.. hawt!

2. ) He can communicate- Nothing is more unappealing than a guy who couldnt express himself in simple language. He doesnt have to be an orator or somethin but he knows well how to get his message across and has an idea of his own. A guy who generates his own opinion and sticks to them without bein’ rude or pushy is an absolute turn on.

3. ) He LOL as in *Laugh out Loud* – Its been a general principle that girls get drawn to guys with some sense of humor. But keep in mind though that there are different types of humor, comedies that are based on putting others down and calling them names isnt really sexy and might be offensive. But when guys are fun loving and knows when to crack, I give em’ a 10 for sexy rating.

4. ) He’s got the “Dont worry, I got it” attitude- He knows he’s the man, the one in control, he’s got his own ways and they usually work. He’s the first to think and the last to speak. I mean, we girls dont expect you guys to handle everything for us, but it certainly is a turn on when guys initiate first.

5. ) He’s not afraid to show his emotions- There’s an old saying that real men dont cry, or real men dont show their emotions. Hey, guess what, thats a myth! Crying is a natural human reaction to release stress, anger or pain. Its not a threat to your masculinity guys if you display your emotions once in awhile , that only shows that you are human and that you have deep feelings. I personally think that a man can be masculine without going overboard with it still rocks.

6. ) He respects a woman.. ( Regardless) – It is true, women these days are classified into many. That being said, its unavoidable for some men to take a different approach on women belonging to the lower part of the scale. There was an instance when I heard three guys talkin on a train station, one hollered out, talkin shit about some random girl he met in a bar. Well my bad, I was eavesdropping lol * But cmon dude, its an ego boost for you perhaps but would you want your mother or sister treated the same way? I’m not sayin guys go for Sainthood, but atleast keep the animal tendencies subtle.

7. ) He does random things – Its cute when a guy does little things to show that he cares for a girl. Like ramdomly sending a “Hello! I miss you!” text on a busy afternoon. Or bringing small gifts on regular days ( just because ).When a guy can do this, thats pretty much bein sensitive to your needs.  Girls are a lil too obsessed with sweet nothings, and if you pull it off just right, youre up to drivin’ a girl wild.

This is how kids think of  Love, kinda funny but better than how adults perceived it. Another realization that a lot of times, we go through all complications in life because we expect too much from what our idea of love is. The give-and-take BS they say. * Yea, i know a lot would deny , say ” Im not expecting anything?? I just want to love you ” * But where do heartbreaks start? Isn’t it because you know you wanted somethin but never had it. You know you gave somethin, but never received anythin back. You know you wished for somethin to happen but things never go your way. Frustrating. The irony of Love… Or no, dont quote me on that, I mean, the irony of what people think of love.

Has anybody ever define love in its most basic form?

“God is Love” Which is the ultimate truth, but no, thats not what Im talkin about.

Has anybody, ever grasp the idea of Love?

Or Love.. like the existence of universe,of milky way, of earth, is just too complicated that human minds wont be able to comprehend.

I am not an Agnostic of Love. No, not that I know of.
I believe in Love.. Ive always believed in Love. Its everywhere. Its within our hearts, our faith. Only that I dont think it can ever be defined.. Put into writing. Love’s way too much than a 4 letter word.
