Getting rid of pimples using Honey in 4 days or less

Posted in Beauty, Fashion, Personal on February 12th, 2011 by Joan Mae – 2 Comments

Last week, I had a major battle against pimples ( again) Ive been workin on a project last week, and that involves exposing my face to some chemicals, coz I havent had this problem in awhile, they grew all a sudden and I got to a point where I dont wanna go out in the house anymore coz the red marks are all over my face and theyre like crying for attention.

I tried putting an overnight-pimple solution to the spots ( Not the entire skin ), I also had to wash my face often using facial scrubs and drink lots of water, it worked for a while, but I think I over applied it, or I think the medication was too harsh, the skin around the pimples turned red and dry. So that didnt really do me any good, it worsen the problem. They got inflammed. -_-

So I did a research about natural pimple cure coz my face is a little bit sensitive, the more I use over the counter medications , the more I noticed my skin being prone to break outs, so I tried resorting to natural remedy.

I found out that Honey is an effective cure. I mean pure honey.. or atleast the ones you buy in groceries.

Day 1 - I washed my face with lemon mixed with lukewarm water.. After 3 minutes or so. I washed it off again and placed Honey all over my face, like a mask.. Let it stay for 20 mins or somethin, then wash it off. I didnt let it stay over night coz I dont want it messin my bed sheets.

Day 2 - scrubbed my face with oatmeal paste ( it acts as a natural cleanser ) Then followed it with Honey mask , this time I added milk into it. It’ll give you a paste like texture. So I let it stay again for couple of minutes.

So I did this for like 4 days..

Now the good part was that, the inflammed part was gone, the red marks are gone. The pimples have dried out completely, but the remedy  wasnt too harsh on my skin.  Honey is also a good moisturizer, it’ll leave your skin supple . So yea.. Im totally recommending Honey for pimple cure. :)
